Terms of use

These terms cover this website and the apps published by Apps For Earthlings LLC ("we", "us"). By using them you agree to these terms. Apps downloaded from Apple's App Store are also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms and Apple's EULA conflict, Apple's EULA applies to the app.

Using our apps

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use our apps on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse them, or use them to break the law.

Your content

What you create in our apps is yours. You're responsible for having the right to any content you add, such as photos, recipes, logos or other people's details, and for keeping your own backups.

Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple Account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If an app sells physical goods or services outside the App Store, that app's page explains how those orders, payments and refunds work.

Third-party services

Some app features rely on services run by other companies, named in each app's privacy policy. Their own terms apply to those services, and we aren't responsible for them.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering an app or feature. We'll try to give notice before removing something you rely on.

No professional advice

Our apps are tools. Results such as estimates, measurements, recipes and reminders are provided to help you, not as professional, engineering, financial, dietary or medical advice. Always check the results before you rely on them.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The apps and this website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Apps For Earthlings LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app involved.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the apps or this website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
